Study Group Fair  -  March 2017

Tapestry

On June 27th, at 2:00 in the afternoon, the Weavers' Guild of St. Louis Tapestry Study Group was reborn.  Seven Guild members, with an interest in Tapestry Weaving, began organizing a study program to pique their interest and enhance their skill in this ancient craft.  The participants shared their interest in tapestry, revealed their various skill levels, and offered the personal goals they hoped to achieve with the support of the study group.  Since five of the seven members are new to tapestry weaving, the first year of meetings will focus on basic skill building.  Once each member has mastered the basic techniques,  the group will turn its attention to the study of more advanced techniques.
